Overview
We are looking for an experienced individual to join the bar staff team. We are looking for someone who has experience working a busy bar confidently whether that be as a part of a team or at times solo. At The Vintage we have a range of beer, spirits, wines and cocktails as well as soft drinks so knowledge on products is important.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
- Take accurate drink orders and ensuring correct methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at times this will be including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Use cocktail specs to ensure correct measurements and ingredients.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts and assist with opening or closing duties as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
