We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team to provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, organised, detail-oriented person with strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills and a wealth of technical knowledge. This position will require a high level of commitment, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. The salary is dependent on skills and experience, up to the maximum stated.
Responsibilities:
- Answer questions and solve problems for customers regarding product operation.
- Analyse problems and solutions and make recommendations for process improvement.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Work as part of a team or independently.
- Perform testing procedures to determine cause of problem and implement solutions.
- Train users on proper operation of equipment.
Ideal Skills:
- Virtualisation: Xen Server (XCP), VMWare
- VoIP: Asterisk/FreePBX , 3CX, SIP knowledge an advantage
- Office 365
- Microsoft Licensing, NCE, SPLA
- Azure
- Strong network design and diagnostics -VPNs, VLANs, Wifi
