Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented temporary worker to join our leasing data team for a 4–5 month assignment. The role involves entering lease transaction data into our commercial real estate (CRE) leasing system from a variety of source documents, checking for duplicate records, and liaising with agents to resolve gaps or inconsistencies in the information.
This is a hands-on, high-volume data entry role suited to someone who is methodical, naturally inquisitive, and comfortable working across multiple document formats.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with data, investigating discrepancies, and resolving information gaps, while being confident communicating with internal stakeholders when information needs clarifying. Previous commercial real estate experience is not essential; however, a willingness to learn industry terminology and lease transaction structures quickly is important.
Key Responsibilities
Enter lease transaction details into the CRE leasing system, sourcing information from a range of formats including Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, marketing brochures, and other supporting documents
Carry out duplicate checks against existing records in the system before and after entry, flagging and resolving any conflicts found
Identify missing or incomplete information within source documents and undertake basic research (e.g. checking supplementary documents, public sources, or internal records) to fill gaps where possible
Liaise directly with CRE agents to clarify unclear, incomplete, or conflicting transaction details
Maintain accuracy and consistency of data entry in line with agreed data standards and formatting conventions
Keep track of entries processed, outstanding queries, and any records requiring follow-up
Escalate recurring data quality issues or unclear cases to the relevant manager
Required Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling high volumes of data
Confident working with Excel and PDF documents; comfortable extracting information from varied and sometimes unstructured formats (e.g. brochures)
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, processes, and terminology quickly
Good communication skills, with the confidence to proactively contact agents or colleagues for clarification
Able to work independently once trained, managing own workload against deadlines
Comfortable with basic research tasks to verify or locate missing information
Experience working with databases and maintaining data accuracy is essential
Experience in commercial real estate, leasing, or property administration is an advantage but not essential
Desirable Skills & Experience
Familiarity with lease terminology (e.g. break clauses, lease expiry, rent reviews) is helpful but not required; training will be provided
If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements below. We’re interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the table!
