Duties
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen operation, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while aligning with brand standards.
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Oversee food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Provide leadership during service periods, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours.
- Participate in menu planning, seasonal updates, and special event catering as required.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Demonstrated team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Strong background in food production, restaurant operations, and hospitality services.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Previous experience in a similar role as an Executive Head Chef or senior culinary management position is preferred.
