Job Description
Department: Shared Services
Team: Accounts Payable
Reports to: AP Operations Controller
The Role: You will join our Finance team,supporting both the onshore and offshore team with high risk supplier and contributor accounts, complex or escalated issues.
Day to Day You Will:
Management of high risk accounts including IR35 and direct debits, preparation of reports to Management, Finance and the Business
Management of key stakeholders
Management of Supplier invoice portals (sourcing invoices etc)
Reconciliation of suspense accounts and Direct Debits working closely with the business
Review of Supplier and Contributor ledger open items immediately post payment runs to identify and resolve house bank and payment method issues
System training and guidance to team members both onshore and offshore where required, Supporting knowledge sharing and process consistency particularly for IR35 and CRS portal.
First level escalation of complex AP, Contributor, Travel and Expenses issues, including discrepancies, exceptions, disputes, and high profile queries
Perform AP and Contributions analysis, investigating all legacy transactions including
Identification and resolution of duplicate payments
Review and clearance of debit balances
Processing corrections and actively chasing any monies owing
121 day report
Vendor change reports review
What we're looking for from you:
Good understanding of Accounts Payable practises and procedures
Good excel skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Excellent working knowledge of SAP S/4
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proactive and curious
Good communication skills
Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
