The Role
Due to continued demand, we are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our busy workshop team in Newburgh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, programming and operating CNC machinery using Heidenhain controls, producing high-quality precision components from detailed engineering drawings. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works safely and enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Set, programme and operate CNC machines using Heidenhain controls.
· Manufacture precision components from detailed engineering drawings.
· Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet specification.
· Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and workmanship.
· Work safely and follow all company health and safety procedures.
· Contribute positively as part of the workshop team to meet production schedules.
Skills & Experience
Essential
· Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
· Ability to set, programme and operate CNC machines using Heidenhain controls.
· Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Reliable, conscientious and safety focused.
Desirable
· Experience working within a busy subcontract machining environment.
· Experience machining a variety of materials and components.
· Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality standards.
