Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining an organised warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in warehousing, heavy lifting, and commercial driving to develop their skills within a dynamic logistics setting.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Organising stock within the warehouse to optimise space utilisation
- Assisting with the preparation and dispatch of deliveries
- Operating delivery vehicles
- Ensuring all goods are stored securely and correctly labelled
- Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and delivery schedules
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment
- Drive and deliver across Cornwall and Devon to 9 different shop locations
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Delivery driver experience, including commercial driving, is advantageous
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
- Valid driver licence or equivalent is essential
- Experience in driving lorries or similar commercial vehicles is preferred
