Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products meet health standards
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling cash and card transactions
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the store well-equipped for busy periods
- Support team members during peak hours by assisting with food preparation and serving duties
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Ability to perform serving duties efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting supplies
