Recruitment Consultant – Construction Division
Manchester - Full-time, office based
Are you a driven recruitment consultant looking to be part of a growing Manchester operation with serious backing behind it? This is an opportunity to join an established, high-performing recruitment consultancy as they continue to expand their Construction division in the North West.
Manchester is a key growth area for the business, with Construction very much the current focus. There is huge potential here for consultants who operate in a clear vertical market and want the freedom to build something properly - whether that’s blue-collar or white-collar Construction.
What’s on offer:
- £32,000 – £42,000 basic salary + commission (DOE)
- Strong, achievable commission structure with genuine earning potential
- Opportunity to join a new Manchester office at an early stage
- Backing of an established consultancy with over a decade of market success
- Autonomy to build and own your own specialist Construction desk
- Supportive, high-performance culture with no micromanagement
- Clear progression for strong performers as the Manchester office grows
The role:
- Build and grow a specialist Construction desk within a defined vertical market
- Develop long-term client relationships rather than transactional recruitment
- Win new business and grow existing accounts
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across client and candidate side
- Position yourself as a market expert within your Construction niche
- Play a key role in shaping and growing the Manchester presence
What they’re looking for:
- Recruitment experience within Construction (blue or white collar)
- Consultants who specialise, rather than generalists covering multiple sectors
- Strong billing mindset with a focus on quality and relationships
- Confident communicator with commercial awareness
- Ambitious, resilient, and motivated by long-term career growth
If you’re hungry, commercially minded, and want to be part of a business where strong recruiters are trusted, supported, and well rewarded, this is a standout opportunity.
