About Us One Pool & Spa is a leading UK bespoke manufacturer of luxury wellness products, including high-end swimming pools, bespoke spas, saunas, and steam rooms. As we expand our production capacity and scale our manufacturing operations, we are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager to take ownership of our day to day, on site finance function.The Role Working directly alongside the Managing Director and production team, you will be the core financial anchor of the business.This is an active, on site role where you will run our daily bookkeeping in Xero, manage supplier and customer accounts, track build costs, and ensure our inventory and Work in Progress (WIP) align with physical production on the factory floor.Key Responsibilities
- Daily Financial Operations: Maintain complete accuracy across Xero, including daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and credit control.
- Purchasing & Supplier Accounts: Match supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes, process regular supplier pay runs, and resolve account queries promptly.
- WIP & Stock Control: Reconcile stock movements, assist with tracking production stage costs/WIP, and support periodic physical stock counts.
- Customer Invoicing: Manage staged deposit requests, milestone build invoices, and final dispatch billing.
- Compliance & VAT: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, manage payroll processes, and maintain a clean trial balance.
- Management Reporting: Provide leadership with accurate month end numbers and work smoothly with external accountants for year end statutory compliance.
What We Are Looking For
- Xero Fluency: Extensive, practical working knowledge of Xero (Advisor Certification is a distinct advantage).
- Manufacturing or Stock Environment: Proven experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or inventory holding business.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 3 / Level 4, QBE (Qualified by Experience), or an equivalent professional bookkeeping qualification.
- Systems Mindset: Experience with, or enthusiasm to work alongside, cloud based workshop/MRP systems (e.g., Katana, MRPeasy, Unleashed) integrated with Xero.
- Commercial & Hands-On: A clear communicator who is happy stepping out of the office to liaise directly with workshop trades, store staff, and suppliers.

- Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum.
