We are a proud, family‑owned packaging distributor looking for a dedicated Dispatch Operator to join our friendly and supportive warehouse team. About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking warehouse operative to join our team, with a main focus on dispatch. You'll be responsible for labelling, wrapping and loading finished goods, and carrying out quality checks to make sure every pallet leaves us in the best possible condition.
No forklift licence is needed for this role — full training is provided on all the equipment you'll use day to day. If you already hold a bendi or counterbalance licence, that's a bonus and will be taken into account, but it is not required.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately label and wrap pallets of finished goods ready for despatch
- Load outbound vehicles safely, efficiently and in line with loading procedures
- Carry out quality control checks on finished goods prior to dispatch, flagging any issues
- Use handheld scanners, wrapping equipment and warehouse systems (training provided)
- Keep dispatch and warehouse areas clean, organised and safe
- Assist with stock takes, cycle counts and reporting discrepancies
- Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Follow warehouse SOPs and packing specifications
The Ideal Candidate
You will bring:
- Excellent attention to detail — accuracy in labelling and quality checks is a top priority
- Able to work well as part of a team and independently
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Basic IT or scanner knowledge (full training provided)
- Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is desirable but not essential
Bonus qualification:
- A bendi or counterbalance forklift licence is beneficial but not essential

Working Hours
This is a full‑time position (subject to a 6‑month probation period).
Monday–Friday: 7:45am – 5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £28,500.00 per year
