The Role
Join our team at Sevens Casino, Magherafelt as a Part-Time Casino Cashier.
Due to our expanding team we are currently hiring 2 part-time team members to support our busy evening and weekend periods.
This role is particularly suited to:
- Mature students
- Individuals seeking a second income
- Those looking for flexible evening work in a lively environment
No previous casino experience is required. Full training will be provided.
Hours & Shift Pattern
Approximately 18 to 24 hours per week, with exact hours and shift arrangements discussed further at interview stage.
This role is focused primarily on evening, weekend and late-night shifts, with Thursday to Sunday availability essential.
Typical shifts include:
- 5:15 / 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM
- 5:15 / 5:30 PM to 1:00 AM
- 08:30 AM to 5:15 PM (occasionally)
Shifts are scheduled on a fair, rotating basis across the team.
Additional hours may also be available depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately handle cash transactions and payments
- Maintain precise cash desk records and balancing procedures
- Assist customers with queries and ensure a positive experience
- Follow all company policies and relevant gaming regulations
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment
What We're Looking For
- Strong numerical skills and confidence handling cash
- Discreet, confidential and professional attitude
- Great communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Confident and engaging personality with the ability to build natural rapport with customers
- Previous customer-facing experience preferred, but not essential
Essential Requirements
- Must be aged 21+
- Must have access to a vehicle and be able to reliably commute to and from late-night shifts
- Must be available for evening and weekend work
- Ideally based locally to Magherafelt
