Endear Care is opening a new Children’s Home in Milton Keynes. As part of this exciting new chapter, we are building a dedicated team of Support Workers who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

About the Candidate
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Support Workers who have a strong understanding of working with children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural, or health needs.
If you are reliable, resilient, and passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential, this is an excellent opportunity to join our team.
You should have:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people in a residential or similar care setting.
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and child protection principles.
- Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour in line with support plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans.
- Promote safety, stability, and emotional wellbeing through consistent and nurturing support.
- Support children to develop daily living skills, independence, and positive social interactions.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the home’s culture, values, and quality
Desirable Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
- Valid Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain).
- Up-to-date mandatory training including Safeguarding and First Aid.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Right to work in the UK
