Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems in new build environments according to technical specifications and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical work during and after installation to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues promptly
- Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and techniques to verify proper operation before handover
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed throughout each project phase
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently during installation or commissioning phases
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on new build or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to new construction sites
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Valid driving license with the ability to travel between multiple sites as needed
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Basic understanding of CCTV systems, IT infrastructure, and maintenance procedures is desirable
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving and quality assurance
