Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our unique team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and performance. This is a skilled technician position requiring previous workshop experience and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to high standards of vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using specialised tools and equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision
- Carry out routine inspections and identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and well-maintained to promote safety and efficiency
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
