Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning recruitment agency with an excellent Trustpilot rating, is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join a busy pharmacy team in Lincoln on a full-time locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Hospital Pharmacy Technician looking to expand their experience while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services and ensuring patients receive safe and effective medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of pharmacy services across wards and departments.
- Dispense and accurately check medications in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Undertake medicines reconciliation and support medicines optimisation.
- Assist pharmacists with clinical pharmacy services and patient care.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Manage stock control, ordering and storage of medicines.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation, policies and professional standards.
- Provide advice to healthcare professionals regarding medicines management where appropriate.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy department.
Applicant Requirements
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working as a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of medicines management and pharmacy procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
