We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to join Edith Rose Nurseries as our Third in Charge.
This role would be perfect for a confident Level 3 practitioner who is ready to take the next step into nursery leadership, or someone who already has experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or Third in Charge.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, you will help support the day-to-day running of the nursery and maintain consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and Early Years practice.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Has strong Early Years experience
Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Can confidently lead and support other practitioners
Is organised, proactive and approachable
Has high expectations of practice and children's experiences
Can support staff development and model excellent practice
Is confident communicating with children, parents, colleagues and management
Is ready to take responsibility and support the management team when required
The role will include supporting with:
Day-to-day nursery organisation
Staff deployment and ratios
Safeguarding and welfare requirements
Monitoring quality of practice
Supporting staff and apprentices
Parent relationships
Room leadership and curriculum delivery
Maintaining a safe, happy and engaging environment for our children
