We are seeking energetic and vigilant Casual / Weekend Door Supervisors to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and verify their eligibility for entry according to venue policies
- Manage access points efficiently, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the venue and surrounding areas
- Perform loss prevention duties by observing for suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
- Maintain a visible presence throughout your shift to deter inappropriate behavior and ensure safety
- Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to identify and prevent theft or misconduct
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations or emergencies
- Basic first aid certification or ability to provide immediate assistance when needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests, staff, and emergency responders
- Vigilant attitude with keen observation skills to detect potential issues early
- Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, or irregular hours as required
