Location: Based in Coventry - the South Region comprises Sublots 2B, 2A and 1A Long Itchington Wood. It stretches for approximately 39.2km from Finham Brook to Southam through a mixture of rural and suburban landscapes
Role Description:
Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV), the construction partner delivering a major section of HS2, is seeking an experienced MEP Agent to lead the safe and efficient delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) works across a range of complex infrastructure projects. As an MEP Agent, you will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme performance, and ensuring all MEP installations are delivered in accordance with safety, quality, environmental and commercial requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of MEP works packages from construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Ensure compliance with HS2, BBV and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Develop and maintain short and long-term construction programmes.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, designers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Manage construction activities in accordance with approved designs, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor progress, productivity, costs and resource requirements.
- Review and approve RAMS, inspection and test plans, and permit requirements.
- Support commercial teams with change control, compensation events and forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice across project delivery.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and client representatives.
Manage interfaces with civil, structural and systems works to ensure seamless project delivery.

Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as an Agent, Sub Agent or Senior Engineer delivering MEP works on major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health installations.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Sound knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
- Excellent planning, organisational and leadership skills. CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
