We're looking for a Senior Support Worker for our night shifts to join our dedicated team at our residential care home in Pentraeth.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where every team member plays a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of our residents throughout the day.
This is a full time role working at least 36 hours per week on a rolling 4-week rota.
About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker (Nights) you will lead and support the night care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring the resident’s physical, emotional and social needs are met with respect and compassion. You’ll lead a close-knit team, monitoring and responding to any needs that arise during the night and will assist with mentoring and supporting less experienced team members.

Key Qualities We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding, medication administration and person-centred care
- Resilient with the ability to multi-task and cope in sometimes difficult situations
- Is reliable, organised, and able to work independently during night shifts
- Solution-focused with a calm, professional approach to challenges
- Committed to maintaining the dignity and privacy of every resident
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in a health and social care setting
- Experience supervising and/or leading a care team
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards)
- Knowledge of care plans and home care practices
- Strong communication skills in English/Welsh
- Must register with Social Care Wales

The rate of pay for this role is £15.51.
