Job Vacancy: Accounts Assistant – Care Accounts Department (Full-Time, 40 Hours)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Care Accounts Department. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to grow their career in finance within the healthcare or care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely recording of transactions.
- Support in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve account discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll, billing, and care funding-related accounts processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Provide support to the senior finance team and participate in audits as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero andother similar admin management software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- A recognized accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA (part-qualified), or CA.
- Experience in a similar role
