PMG Services Ltd, part of the Enovert Group, is an award-winning waste management company based in Bristol, operating a specialist fleet of Road Sweepers, Tankers and Waste Management vehicles across the South West of England.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Tanker / Jetting Driver & Operative to join our growing tanker fleet.
This is a varied and hands-on role, working with a specialist fleet of vehicles and equipment across a wide range of customer sites and environments.

- Artic & Barrel Tankers
- Tippers
- Grab Vehicles
- Ro-Ro Vehicles
- Specialist jetting and waste management equipment
No two days are necessarily the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors and operating specialist equipment.
The Role
As a Tanker / Jetting Driver & Operative, you’ll work as part of our experienced Operations team, travelling to locations throughout the South West to carry out a range of tanker, jetting, drainage and waste management activities.
Your duties may include:
- Driving HGV Class 1 or Class 2 tanker vehicles to customer sites and locations throughout the South West.
- Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Operating vacuum tanker and Jet Vac equipment.
- Carrying out reactive drainage and sewer maintenance work.
- Clearing blocked drains and drainage systems.
- Waste collection and transportation.
- Loading, transporting and disposing of liquid and solid waste in accordance with company and environmental procedures.
- Carrying out jetting, vacuuming, tank cleaning and associated site operations.
- Operating other specialist vehicles within our fleet where required and following appropriate training.
- Working on construction sites, industrial premises, highways and customer locations.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Following all relevant health & safety, environmental and operational procedures.
- Providing professional customer service and representing PMG Services positively on site.
- Working effectively as part of a close-knit and supportive team.
The role can involve early starts, long working days and occasional night or weekend work, depending on operational requirements.
The Person
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, practical and takes pride in doing a job properly.
You’ll ideally have:
- HGV Class 2 Licence – Required
- HGV Class 1 Licence - Not Required, though Highly Desirable
- Full Driver CPC – Required
- Previous experience operating tankers, vacuum tankers, Jet Vacs or high-pressure jetting equipment – Highly desirable
- Previous drainage, waste management or environmental services experience – desirable.
- High Pressure Water Jetting certification – desirable.
- CSCS Card – desirable.
Don’t have tanker or jetting experience?
That’s not necessarily a problem.
We’re happy to consider candidates with the right attitude and driving experience and provide full training to the right person.
