Job Description
DSM Contract Lifting Services Ltd are a specialist lifting, crane hire and plant movement company operating across London and the South East.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two Plant Movement Operatives / Labourers to join our team, with the opportunity to be trained and progressed into Slinger/Signaller roles for the right individuals.
This is a hands-on, safety-critical role working on a wide range of projects including plant relocations, contract lifts and complex movements within live environments such as construction sites, data centres and commercial buildings.
We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals with the right attitude and work ethic. We will invest in and train the right people.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with plant movement and machinery relocation
- Supporting lifting operations alongside crane teams
- Following instructions from supervisors and Appointed Persons
- Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and professionalism on site
- Working effectively as part of a team in busy, live environments

Requirements
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Reliable, punctual and consistent
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a disciplined team
Weekend work availability is advantageous.

Important Information
- This is a full-time PAYE position
- PPE and transport to site provided
- Holiday pay and statutory sick pay included
- No accommodation is provided — applicants must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Basildon / Brentwood
- Must be able to travel to sites across London and the South East
