Anni is 45 and has lived in Clydebank area all her life. She has Downs Syndrome and has recently been diagnosed with Dementia. Anni is easy going and loves a laugh. She is mischievous and likes playing jokes on people. Anni loves her family and talking to them is very important to her. She likes routine, being praised and is at her best with happy, calm, positive people around her. This can affect Anni’s sleep at times and until focussed on positive things again.
Great support for Anni involves enabling her independence, keeping her safe and spending focussed, active time with her. Anni loves time with her family, eating out, bingo, cinema, her work placement, drama, music and hotel stays on holiday. Being kind, respectful, good humoured and calm, helps Anni lead her best life. Anni has her own car for getting around and therefore needs drivers too.
