Real Animation Works is looking for a talented, confident and motivated Junior Interior Designer / Software Training Tutor to join our growing team in London.
This is a creative role with two main areas of work. You will help with interior design projects, but the main focus of the role is teaching design software to our clients.
We work with interior designers, architects, students and other design professionals across the UK and internationally. Our training is mainly delivered through one-to-one and small-group sessions, both online and in person.
Software Skills – Essential
You should have a good working knowledge of:
- Vectorworks
- SketchUp
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Photoshop
Additional Skills – Advantageous
It would be beneficial if you also have experience with:
- Adobe InDesign
- 3D modelling and visualisation
- Rendering software
- Teaching, tutoring or mentoring
- Presentations and communicating with clients

- Is confident explaining software to beginners and experienced users
- Understands space planning and technical drawings
- Can produce plans, sections, elevations and layouts
- Has a friendly, professional and patient approach with clients
- Is organised and manages their time well
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is available to work on Saturdays – essential
- Is willing to learn new skills and develop within a busy creative environment
Main Responsibilities
Your role will include:
Software Training
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group training sessions
- Teach software such as Vectorworks, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop
- Help clients understand and use the software confidently
- Adapt your teaching style to suit different levels of ability
- Prepare training exercises and supporting materials
- Support clients throughout their learning process
Interior Design Work
- Assist with live interior design projects
- Produce CAD drawings and technical documentation
- Create 3D models and visualisations
- Assist with presentations and material boards
- Work closely with senior designers
- Support the preparation of design proposals and project information
