Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
- Utilise technology to create precise dental restorations and prosthetics.
- Apply thorough knowledge of human anatomy to accurately diagnose dental issues and plan effective treatment strategies.
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to identify underlying dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health.
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring all treatments are documented accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and specialists to deliver seamless patient care and enhance clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- BDS or equivalent and GDC registered.
- Proficiency in Exact software.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to the head, neck, and oral cavity.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays or digital scans used in dental diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
