Job Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced CCDO Chargehand / Gold CCDO. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Job is for a minimum of 4 weeks, possibility of weekend or overtime and 9 hours paid/day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
- Lead a team of demolition/Strip-out workers, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to ensure proper handling and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Valid CCDO Chargehand or Gold card with relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to various trades on site.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
