We are looking to appoint a Technician in Digital Design. This post will provide technical support, enabling students to produce digital content across multiple disciplines. You will have design experience in developing for moving image, editing, mobile apps, and interactive content.
Demonstrating design software and associated processes form the essential criteria of the role. You will be able to demonstrate experience and aptitude in the design of motion graphics and multimedia content.
You will have the ability to deliver induction sessions for Adobe CC applications including After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop.
Planning and delivering technical workshops in support of the academic aims of the courses as well as supporting students on the technical components of their projects.
You will also have excellent communication skills, be a good team worker and be able to demonstrate an aptitude for dealing tactfully with students and staff. The ability to work under pressure is essential.
Actual salary for this role is £16,391 per annum.
