What you will do
Support residents with personal care while protecting dignity, privacy, independence and choice.
Help with meals, drinks, mobility, activities and the everyday routines that make life comfortable and meaningful.
Build trusting professional relationships with residents, relatives and colleagues.
Respond promptly to call bells and changes in a resident’s wellbeing.
Complete clear daily records and share important information during handovers.
Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home.
What we are looking for
A genuinely caring, patient and respectful approach.
Reliability, good communication and the ability to work as part of a close team.
Confidence to use initiative and ask for help when needed.
A willingness to learn about dementia care, safeguarding and person-centred support.
Desirable: Previous care-home experience, dementia-care knowledge or a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification. Full training will be provided for the right person.
About Blossom Care
Blossom Care operates Blossom House Residential Home and Wishmoor Rest Home in Malvern. We provide specialist residential dementia care in welcoming, home-from-home environments. We are proud finalists in the 2026 Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards – Health Care Employer Award category.
