We are looking for a Assistant Systems Accountant to join our team. The role is full time and permanent, working 36 hours per week.
We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows. This role can be based at one of our sites or offices, at home, or worked on a hybrid pattern. You will be required to attend our London and/or Swindon offices on a frequent basis, for one day a week initially, dropping to one or two days a month. If the majority of your working week will be based at our London office (Wood Street), you will receive a premium on top of the advertised salary. This will be discussed further at interview.

As part of our recruitment process, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Employment will be subject to satisfactory clearance, and DBS checks will be conducted periodically throughout employment.
As the Assistant Systems Accountant, you'll be a critical link between Finance and Technology Services (IT), responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data flow between existing systems and the Finance System, Integra Centros, and will be involved in the planning for new systems to ensure optimal implementation from a Finance perspective. This will enable accurate reporting to help drive financial decision making, supporting the organisation in achieving its objective of Financial Sustainability.
As well as the opportunity to to play a part in in-flight projects and work packages to help deliver changes to systems that process financial transactions, you will also support the day-to-day administration and management of existing finance systems and reporting tools.
To be considered for the Assistant Systems Accountant role, you'll need:
- to be a fully or part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- to have experience and a good working knowledge of Integra Centros (or similar finance systems), NAV2013 and Business Central along with add-on solutions such as Power BI and associated AI tools
- to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and are to an advanced level in Microsoft Excel
- excellent attention to detail and possess strong communication skills, coupled with an enthusiastic, positive and flexible approach
- to be comfortable working collaboratively with both other areas of the business and external 3rd party service support
