Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities & Complex Care - 6 month FTC
Location: Pickering
Salary: £46,000 pro rata
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a residential service in Pickering, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager or an ambitious deputy ready to take the next step, joining a provider that genuinely values high-quality, person-centred care.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational performance. You'll lead and develop a dedicated staff team while creating an environment where the people you support can thrive and live fulfilling, independent lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the residential service.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
- Recruit, develop and support a high-performing staff team.
- Promote a positive, person-centred culture throughout the service.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels and overall service performance.
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and deliver outstanding outcomes for the people supported.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within adult social care.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex care needs.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
