ROLE OVERVIEW
Robobike Ltd. is looking for a practical, hands-on Assembly Technician to join our Littlehampton team. This is an excellent opportunity to assemble a new range of advanced motorbike motion simulators in an ambitious, technology-led business.
Full training on how to build the simulators will be provided at our Littlehampton R&D centre. Working to a defined build manual, you will assemble simulators using bespoke designed and manufactured components, source components, and support efficient series production.
The role also involves travel across the UK to help with installation, set-up, and support the daily running of simulators at client venues. It will suit someone with a keen engineering aptitude, gaming software/hardware knowledge and a basic understanding of production and assembly methods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble a new range of motorbike motion simulators using bespoke designed and manufactured mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Work to a defined build manual and deliver safe, accurate, high-quality builds.
Source components to meet build schedules and material requirements.
Support efficient series production through a practical, hands-on approach to assembly.
Travel across the UK to help with installation, set-up, and support the daily running of simulators at client venues.
Maintain clear communication with the Littlehampton R&D centre and wider business team.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly work, ideally on mechanical or electromechanical products.
- Basic understanding of series production methods and confidence working to a defined build manual.
- Familiarity with component sourcing, bills of materials, and structured assembly processes.
- Confidence working with bespoke designed and manufactured components.
- A basic understanding and strong passion for gaming software/hardware.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel around the UK to support client venues.
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for a hands-on, methodical technician with a keen engineering aptitude and the ability to work confidently fromtechnical documentation. You should understand series production methods, be comfortable in a growing start-up environment, and be ready to travel in support of client installations and simulator operation.
Pay: £25,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
