Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed to uphold quality and hygiene
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and reduce wait times
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and serving practices
Skills
- Experience as a barista is necessary
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards to ensure safe handling of beverages and snacks
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates positive customer interactions
- Reliable understanding of health regulations and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
