Fusionpac Ltd based in Louth is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team. Working directly for the Operations Manager you will operate Plastic conversion (Bag Making) machinery on site as instructed.
The role:
- Following the production plan to ensure machinery is operating at optimum levels to produce effectively on time, on cost, safely and to the correct quality standard
- Operating conversion machinery as instructed by the Operations Manager.
- Carrying out procedures in relation to H&S and Quality, including carrying out relevant quality inspections
- Making suggestions and recommendations on improving efficiency, quality consistency of products and development of processes and machinery
- Reporting any issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner to the relevant person
- Flexibility to support in other departments
About You:
- Experience in machine operating, having the experience of bag making machinery is beneficial
- Health and safety conscious with the ability to follow instructions safely
- A keen eye for detail with excellent communication skills
- A good team player who supports in continuous improvement for the business
This role is based in Louth with an hourly rate of £13.00 increasing to £14.00 after successful training. The shift pattern is based on weekly Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm days. Contracted 40 hrs/week. Flexibility to work overtime when and needed is essential.
Enhanced holiday and company sick pay scheme are available following probation period and dependant on length of service.
Own transport required to and from place of work.
