We are looking to recruit an AutoCad Designer, must have a background within the aluminium facade industry, (curtain walling, windows and doors etc)
We are manufacturers and installers with a long established and growing UK presence. Offering a full range of commercial fenestration products including windows, doors, curtain walling and entrance systems.
THE JOB:
You will be responsible for overseeing projects producing working drawings with a high technical complexity of which will be installed on a nationwide basis. Liaising with all main contractors including being involved with procurement. Involved from project inception and supporting all elements towards completion. Ensure that all steps are taken to successfully complete projects in a timely manner with realistic and achievable time frames Running multiple projects simultaneously Liaising and constantly communicating with Architects and main contractors Maintain relations with main contractors Be dedicated and willing to put in the hours required, to achieve results and deadlines
KEY SKILLS:
· Excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
· Good understanding of construction contracts
· Computer literate. Must be able to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and AutoCAD
· Articulate
· Great attention to detail
· Experience of working in the glazing and fenestration industry
· Knowledge of aluminium glazing systems such as Senior, Kawneer, Schuco etc
· Professional and positive approach
· Self-motivated & enthusiastic
· Strong in building relationships & able to communicate at all levels
· Team player and able to work on own initiative.
LOCATION:
Office based in Mansfield with nationwide coverage
THE PERSON:
We are seeking a proven fenestration or facade auto cad technician with a strong understanding of commercial Fenestration. The ideal candidate will have proven success working on a range of commercial fenestration projects.
