Job Overview:
The Electrical role at Warmatic Ltd plays an essential part in the electrical installation and manufacture of heating units both on-site and in the factory. This role involves working with electrical wiring, components, and systems to ensure that all heating equipment is properly installed, tested and operational. Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installation:
- Install electrical wiring, control systems, and electrical components for commercial and industrial heating units both on-site when required for warranty calls and in the factory.
- Work alongside other team members during the assembly of heating units to ensure that all electrical systems are correctly integrated and fully operational.
- Ensure all electrical installations are completed in compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and company procedures.
- Electrical Servicing and Maintenance:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on electrical systems in heating units to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
- Carry out electrical checks and tests on heating systems, identifying and correcting any electrical faults, wiring issues, or component failures.
- Inspect electrical components such as circuit boards, fuses, switches, and wiring for wear and tear or damage, replacing parts where necessary.
- Fault Diagnosis and Repair:
- Diagnose electrical faults in heating units and associated systems, providing effective solutions for repairs or replacements.
- Work with the engineering and service teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Test and verify the correct operation of repaired or serviced electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all electrical safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Ensure that all electrical installations and repairs meet industry standards and comply with national and international safety regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all tasks.
- Record all maintenance, servicing, and repair activities for audit purposes and traceability.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the engineering, production, and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide technical support and advice to other team members regarding electrical systems, wiring, and components.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical installations and service tasks, ensuring that all work is completed within required timeframes.
- On-Site and Factory Work:
- Perform electrical work both on-site at customer locations and within the factory, ensuring the safe and efficient installation, servicing, and repair of heating units.
- In the factory, assist with the assembly and wiring of heating systems, ensuring that electrical components are correctly installed and tested.
- On-site, ensure all electrical connections are safely installed and operational, with proper verification and certification where required.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete accurate reports and records for each installation, service, or repair job, detailing the work completed and any parts replaced or issues encountered.
- Maintain a record of electrical tasks completed, ensuring all documents are submitted promptly to management for tracking and compliance purposes.
- Provide detailed feedback and recommendations to the management team regarding any improvements or changes needed in electrical systems or processes.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (standard working hours). Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines or service requests.
- Based at Warmatic Ltd. headquarters in Middlesbrough, UK, with regular travel to customer sites.
- The role will involve working in both factory- and field-based environments, which may include outdoor and industrial locations.

- Report any workplace hazards, issues, or concerns to the Health & Safety Officer immediately.
- Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
