We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site General Manager to lead the operations of our brand new fast-paced 3PL warehouse. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team performance across all aspects of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead your management team to support the build, launch and embedding of the new site and its team

Establish the strong working relationships across your managers and the support teams to ensure continued success on site

Support the launch project of site

Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring service levels, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met.

Manage client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for service delivery and performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing, transport, and value-added services.

Oversee budget management, cost control, and P&L accountability for the site.

Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop site leadership and operational teams to achieve KPIs and strategic goals.

Collaborate with central functions to support site needs and business growth.

Champion a culture of Communities, Operational Excellence, Demanding Standards and Entrepreneurship.
Your skills and experience

Proven experience in a senior operational role within a 3PL environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.

Commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and client contracts.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A track record of delivering operational improvements and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), transport planning, and inventory control.

Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain, or business management (desirable).

An overall hands-on approach, keen to be solution focused and passionate to support the ongoing development of the site, its teams and the ID Logistics UK business.
