A part time, self employed summer kennel and cattery assistant position in a busy boarding facility based in Chesterfield.
Successful applicants will need to:
- Have confidence in handling all breeds/sizes/temperaments
- Have an ability to carry out thorough cleaning routines
- Have a passion for dogs/cats and an understanding of their behaviour/needs
- Be flexible (including working weekends, bank holidays, etc. as required)
- Have an ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Be able to cope with a physical and demanding work day, in all weathers
- Be sociable, kind and enthusiastic
A qualification in animal management or similar is preferable. This is however not compulsory, as training will be provided and the role offers good prospective for anyone undertaking an animal care qualification.
This role requires a hard working individual with a passion and kindness for animals, who can follow instructions and is eager to learn.
Hours are subject to the demands of the business therefore the applicant is required to be flexible throughout the year as workload fluctuates.
We are looking for a candidate to fill a part time role including at least one weekend day. (please note this will still include full days).
