About Instruct Construction Group Ltd
We’re a growing construction company working on residential renovations across the East Midlands, including HMOs, refurbishments, extensions and internal works. We’re looking for reliable Labourers who turn up on time, work safely, and support the site team to keep projects moving.
£120 per day (based on experience, attitude and ability on site)
Day rate is paid for attending site hours as scheduled.
Hours / working pattern
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Occasional Saturdays: 7:00am – 1:00pm (when required)
You must be on site for these hours to receive your day rate.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support our trades on active renovation sites. Typical tasks include:
Assisting skilled trades (e.g., general builders, bricklayers, joiners, plumbers)
Site set-up and keeping work areas organised and safe
Loading/unloading materials, moving supplies around site
Mixing materials (e.g., cement/mortar) and general groundwork support where needed
Basic demolition/strip-out, clearance and waste removal (as required)
Protecting finished areas and keeping walkways tidy
Following instructions from the site lead and working to safe methods
Must-have requirements (please only apply if you meet these)
You must be able to drive and have your own car/van (essential – we cover multiple sites across NG/DE)
Previous labouring or site experience (domestic/residential preferred)
Reliable timekeeping and able to consistently start 7:00am
Physically able to carry out site duties in different weather conditions
Own PPE (minimum: safety boots and hi-vis)
Right to work in the UK (evidence requested after initial contact)
Desirable (not essential, but helps)
CSCS card
Asbestos Awareness or basic H&S training
Basic hand tools (helpful but not required)
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
