We are currently looking to recruit a Nursery Chef/Cook at our Nursery in Maxey, Peterborough.

We're looking for a friendly, organised, and passionate Nursery Chef/Cook who can whip up tasty, healthy meals while creating happy mealtimes for our children. Every meal you prepare will help fuel adventures, learning, play, and plenty of laughter.
As the Nursery Chef/Cook, you will be responsible for:
- Providing delicious and nutritious meals for the children whilst catering for allergies and dietary needs.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen where food safety always comes first.
- Ensuring well-stocked cupboards by keeping an eye on ingredients and ordering supplies when needed.
- Happy mealtimes where children enjoy exploring new flavours and healthy eating.
- You will also support fun, hands-on cooking activities with the children by preparing simple recipes and ingredients for children to enjoy making. You will encourage children to weigh, measure, mix, and decorate their creations, creating memorable experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of cooking.

We're looking for someone who:
- Loves cooking and believes food should be both nutritious and delicious.
- Preferably has experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, catering, nursery, or similar environment.
- Understands food hygiene and enjoys keeping everything sparkling clean.
- Is organised, proactive, and happy working independently.
- Brings a positive attitude, a warm smile, and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
- Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or is happy to achieve one with our support).

- Salary up to £13.75 per hour
- 30–35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
