We're Solent Power, the critical power specialist. We support businesses across Hampshire and the south coast call when the mains fails. We supply, install, service and repair the diesel generators and UPS systems that keep hospitals, data rooms and industrial sites running, and our service and repairs side is busier than it's ever been.
Our Senior Account Manager runs a full book of service contracts and repair sales, and the Internal Sales Executive role works right alongside it.
What you'll be doing
- Producing quotations for generator servicing, repairs, remedial works and contract renewals, working from engineer reports and supplier pricing.
- Owning the follow-up. Chasing every open quote on a proper cadence and keeping HubSpot accurate as you go.
- Managing your own portfolio of smaller service contract accounts: renewals, queries, and spotting where a customer could get more from us.
- Being the first, friendly voice on inbound sales enquiries, working closely with service coordination and procurement.
- Learning a genuinely interesting technical product. Full training given on generators, UPS and the wider critical power industry.
Who you are
You’re someone who's spent a minimum of a couple of years in B2B sales support, internal sales, estimating or account coordination, ideally somewhere technical, whether that's engineering, facilities management or the trades.
You'll fit in here if you:
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a confident and professional telephone manner.
- Are highly organised, with strong time management skills and the discipline to manage a high volume of quotes and follow-ups without anything slipping through.
- Have strong numeracy skills and are comfortable working with spreadsheets and pricing data.
- Have CRM experience (HubSpot advantageous) and great Microsoft 365 skills.
- Bring a proactive attitude, accuracy and ownership.
- Product knowledge isn't essential, full training will be provided.

The Package
- Salary: £33,000-£36,000, depending on experience.
- 25 days holiday plus standard bank holidays.
