An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mobile AC & Refrigeration Engineer to join a small, flexible business specialising in air conditioning and refrigeration services & installations. This role is ideal for an engineer who prefers installation-focused work, a sensible regional patch, and a healthy work–life balance with no overtime or call-out.
Package
- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
- Location: Based from Northampton (typically working within 1 hour)
- Vehicle: Company van & fuel card (personal use permitted)
- Holiday: 20 days

Role Overview
You will be working predominantly on AC and refrigeration, covering a mix of commercial and domestic projects. This is a mobile role with a sensible travel radius, offering consistent working hours and flexibility within a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Carrying out associated mechanical and commissioning works
- Working across a mix of commercial and domestic properties
- Ensuring installations meet industry standards and client expectations
- Maintaining high levels of workmanship and professionalism
Requirements / Qualifications
- F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
- Previous experience in AC and/or refrigeration
- Installation background preferred
- Full UK driving licence
