This is a full-time role, with the opportunity to work on a self-employed or employed basis.
Due to continued growth and an increased workload, we are looking for an experienced Roofer with the ability to work on both tiled and flat roofs.
We are a family run installation company established in 1963. We specialise in providing new and replacement roofs for properties throughout Wimborne, Bournemouth and the South Coast. We work on both residential properties for customers direct and with main contractors who are looking to outsource roof installations for their larger projects.
The successful candidate will have a good level of experience and a strong background in the industry. They will need to be fully competent in all aspects of repairing and installing felt flat roofs, tiling, lead work, roof lights and rooflines. They will work well as part of a team but also have the ability to work proactively and under their own initiative.
Requirements
- Previous experience with roof installation, repair and fault finding
- Experience with both domestic and site installations
- Can work efficiently and within specified time frames
- Ability to build a rapport and liaise with customers and clients effectively
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work well as part of a team and to support others when required
- Ensures that all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- CSCS card ideal but not essential
- NVQ level 2/3 OR equivalent length of time spent working in the industry
- Full UK driving licence
