Role Purpose
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and smooth delivery of construction projects for Sanper Construction. This role ensures projects run efficiently, administrative tasks are completed accurately, and communication with clients, teams, and subcontractors is maintained in line with Sanper’s internal systems (BOPS, SCOPE Sheets, OneDrive, OLA processes).
You will assist Project Managers in organising project activities, arranging equipment hire, collating Health & Safety documentation, and maintaining project records, helping to drive efficiency, maintain compliance, and support a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Project Support
· Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and site teams
· Maintain up-to-date project documentation on OneDrive, including schedules, reports, and correspondence
· Collate and organise Health & Safety documentation to ensure compliance with CDM, building standards, and MoJ/HMPPS regulations
· Prepare project paperwork, permits, and records for internal and client audits where required depending on Project type
Coordination & Equipment Management
· Coordinate project activities to ensure smooth delivery in line with Project Manager instructions
· Arrange hire and delivery of equipment such as machinery, MEWPs, Heras fencing, and other plant
· Track and manage equipment allocations, returns, and servicing requirements
· Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and plant
Client Communication & Stakeholder Support
· Act as a point of contact for clients when the Project Manager is unavailable
· Ensure client communications are responded to promptly and professionally, maintaining Sanper’s high standards
· Assist in preparing reports, updates, and presentations for client meetings
Compliance & Record-Keeping
· Support the Project Manager in ensuring projects comply with MoJ/HMPPS, CDM, and Health & Safety requirements
· Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and project documentation
· Support secure handling and storage of sensitive documentation in line with internal and client security protocols
Team & Process Support
· Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, and site teams to ensure smooth coordination of day-to-day operations
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives for project administration and documentation management
· Support training and onboarding of new team members in project administration procedures
Required Skills
Essential:
· First class customer service

· Fluent in English for reading & writing
· Geographical knowledge
· Construction or trade knowledge preferred

· Competitive salary of £30000 - £32000 DOE
· Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 (40hours)
