About Us
Rackline has been designing and manufacturing bespoke storage solutions from our Staffordshire facility since 1984, trusted by museums, archives, healthcare providers, the public sector and leading institutions across the UK for intelligent, made-to-measure racking and shelving.
Our sister brand, IronStor, brings that same manufacturing quality to a wider audience — supplying British-made shelving, racking, lockers and workplace storage to trade, commercial and domestic customers who want quality without the import mark-up.
Two brands, two audiences, one manufacturing heritage — and now we're looking for someone to bring both to life online.
The Role
We're recruiting a PPC, SEO & Analytics Specialist to take hands-on ownership of paid search, organic search and performance reporting across Rackline and IronStor. This is a specialist execution role, not a management position — you'll report to the Sales Director, who sets overall commercial direction, and focus your time on running, optimising and reporting on these specific channels rather than owning the wider marketing or brand strategy for the business. The role carries no line management responsibility.
It's a role for someone who's comfortable moving between two quite different challenges: nurturing considered, longer-cycle B2B enquiries for Rackline's bespoke projects, and driving efficient, revenue-generating performance across IronStor's e-commerce site.
IronStor sells directly online, so proven e-commerce experience is essential for this role — you'll need a track record of driving online sales through paid and organic search, not just enquiries or leads.
We can offer this as a full-time or part-time position, depending on what suits the right candidate, working hybrid with time based at our Staffordshire site. We're genuinely open to discussing arrangements that work around school hours or other commitments — we care about the work, not the clock.
We know that a lot of brilliant, experienced marketers have taken time out of their careers — for children, caring responsibilities, or simply to reset — and found it hard to get back in on flexible terms. If that's you, and you've got the experience to back it up, we'd love to hear from you. You won't need to prove yourself from scratch; we're looking for someone who can pick this up and run with it.
What You'll Be Doing
Planning, running and optimising PPC campaigns (Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads) across both brands, managing budgets and bidding within targets agreed with the Sales Director — cost-per-lead for Rackline and ROAS/revenue for IronStor's online store
Hands-on SEO execution for both websites — on-page optimisation, keyword targeting and technical fixes within these two specific channels
Driving IronStor's e-commerce performance specifically — product/category page optimisation, shopping feed management, conversion rate optimisation and full-funnel tracking from click to online sale
Building and maintaining PPC, SEO and analytics reporting (GA4, Google Search Console and similar tools), and feeding clear insight and recommendations back to the Sales Director
Identifying and implementing improvements to conversion rate and campaign efficiency within the paid and organic search channels
Keeping on top of PPC and SEO platform changes and algorithm updates, and applying them practically rather than theoretically
Reporting regularly on PPC, SEO and analytics performance, with the confidence to explain what's working, what isn't, and why.
What We're Looking For
ESSENTIAL
Proven, demonstrable experience growing sales for an e-commerce or online retail business through PPC and SEO — this is a must-have, not a nice-to-have, given IronStor's online sales model
Solid, hands-on experience across PPC, SEO and web analytics — you've done this for real, not just studied it
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into plain-English recommendations
Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, Google Search Console and standard SEO tooling (e.g.SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar)
Confident working independently within these channels and setting your own day-to-day priorities
DESIRABLE
Comfortable managing multiple accounts, budgets and priorities across more than one brand or business
Experience with shopping feeds/Google Merchant Center and product-level SEO
Exposure to B2B or lead-generation marketing alongside e-commerce, given the dual nature of the role
What We Offer
Genuine flexibility on full-time or part-time hours, built around specialist, hands-on responsibility rather than a stripped-down junior role
Hybrid working, based at our Staffordshire site
The chance to make a real, visible impact across two established, growing brands
A supportive team that values experience and understands that great marketers come in all shapes of career history
Competitive salary, dependent on experience
Pay: Up to £55,000.00 per year
Benefits:

- Flexitime
- Free parking
- On-site parking
- Work from home
