Moods is an independent café, bar and restaurant based in the restored First White Cloth Hall in Leeds city centre.
We are looking for reliable and hardworking kitchen porters to join our kitchen team. This is an important role helping the kitchen operate smoothly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout service.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Washing plates, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen, wash area and storage areas clean and organised
- Removing waste and maintaining the bin and recycling areas
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Helping the kitchen team during busy services
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Can work quickly in a busy kitchen
- Takes pride in keeping areas clean and organised
- Works well as part of a team
- Is comfortable with physical work and being on their feet
- Can work evenings and weekends
- Has previous kitchen experience, although this is not essential
