We are looking for an experienced and motivated Activities Lead to take ownership of engagement and activity provision within our specialist mental health care home.
This is a lead role, responsible for designing and delivering a structured programme of meaningful activities that improve residents’ wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a varied weekly activity programme (group & 1:1)
- Ensure activities are meaningful, inclusive, and outcome-focused
- Track and evidence resident engagement and wellbeing
- Coordinate staff to meet 1:1 support requirements efficiently
- Lead and support Activity Coordinators
- Complete activity risk assessments and ensure safe delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Creative, organised, and proactive approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Experience in care, mental health, or activities (preferred)
- Confident planning structured activity programmes
