Café Team Member (Part-Time)
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Hours: 9:00am – 2;00pm
Weekend availability: Required
We are currently looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking individual to join our café team.
If you enjoy working with people, can stay calm and positive during busy periods, and are happy to get stuck in wherever needed, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Working behind the bar and preparing hot and cold drinks
- Providing excellent customer service
- Taking customer orders
- Serving food and drinks to tables
- Keeping the café clean, tidy and organised
- Working efficiently during busy and fast-paced periods
- Supporting the rest of the team wherever needed
Requirements:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Availability to work weekends is essential
⭐ Desirable / Bonus:
- Driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- Kitchen experience or the ability to help with food preparation
- Cooking experience would be a big bonus
- Someone who is confident enough to jump into the kitchen when needed and help prepare meals
- Previous café, restaurant or hospitality experience
We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to get stuck in and help wherever needed. Our team works closely together, so being flexible and willing to jump between the bar, tables and kitchen is really important.
