Join our successful Kia Retailer in Plymouth as a Parts Supervisor and play a key role in leading a high-performing Parts operation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts professional who enjoys combining hands-on operational responsibility with team leadership, customer service excellence, and commercial growth.
As Parts Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day management of the department, leading a team of two Parts Advisors and two Drivers while helping to drive the continued growth of our Trade Parts business. You'll also work closely alongside colleagues at our Hyundai Retailer, helping to maximise efficiencies, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure a seamless supply of parts across both businesses.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising and supporting two Parts Advisors and two Drivers, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
- Accurately identifying, ordering, and supplying parts to retail, trade, and workshop customers
- Developing and growing Trade Parts sales through excellent customer relationships and proactive business development
- Working collaboratively with our Hyundai Retailer to optimise stock management, processes, and service delivery
- Supporting inventory control, stock accuracy, and parts availability across both sites
- Monitoring team performance and providing coaching, guidance, and support where required
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Helping ensure departmental objectives, profitability targets, and customer satisfaction measures are achieved
- Maintaining compliance with manufacturer standards and company procedures

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within an automotive Parts Department
- Experience supervising or mentoring others, or a desire to take the next step into a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations, inventory management, and customer service
- Experience of Trade Parts sales and business development would be highly advantageous
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, commercially minded approach to problem-solving
- The ability to lead by example and motivate a team to achieve shared goals
- A full UK driving licence
