Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients by delivering personalised care in a respectful and professional manner. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as required
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Maintain accurate care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly environment
- Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to senior staff
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required

Pay: £13.50-£14.20 per hour
